Based in the North of England, Bez23 began DJing in 1992. Combining a deep love for psychedelic music from all eras with the discovery that 'tripping tapes' could be compiled much more fluidly by using two record players and a mixer resulted in much involvement in the free party and club scene. Since the early '90s Bez23 has been promoting and playing at trance, then Goa, then psytrance parties.

Currently organiser of the chill space for long standing Bradford psychedelic party 'Kulu' where he is also a psytrance resident. For the past 3 years Bez23 has co-ordinated the chill space for UK trance festival 'Shamania' - a collaborative event between northern party crews.

Known for deeply hypnotic, brain mangling psytrance DJ sets, Bez23 has released with Distortion Orchestra under the name Dorje, also collaborating with TranceVisuals on the 'Das Produkt' DVD.
While continuing to develop a style of psy known for its mind-zorching, face melting properties, Bez23 is also much inspired by developments in 'alternative room' sounds to produce groovy psy-dub.

Bez23 can be found playing at diverse parties and festivals throughout the UK, including Glade, Hawkfest, Sunrise, Solfest, Wickerman and many club parties, especially good friends Cabbage and  Strange Daze.
