Dj Gaspard was born in 1972. His teens led him on the punk trail, which he travelled for many years. In 1991, in parallel to punk, electronic music entered his life and spinned it forever. He enjoyed going to parties, but something was still amiss: he felt the need to be more of an actor and less of a spectator within the trance scene.

In 1996, he acquired his first set of turntables and one thing led to another. Gaspard has now been dj-ing for eleven years. In 1997, he started playing in and organizing parties in Switzerland. The following year, he joined the Psyberpunk Corp. Since then hes played all around the globe and is still going!

The style is full power night-time psychedelic trance. Gaspard is much appreciated for the precision of his mixes and his choice of tunes. A sensitive being, he develops a strong connection with the dancers, taking them on a journey and letting himself being guided by their energy. Interaction is a key element of his art.

In 2003, Gaspard co-founded Peak Records, the first full-on psytrance label in Switzerland, along with friends Ajja S.F.Leu, Tanina Munchkina and Master Margherita. A&R man and Dj of the label, he compiled the six dance-floor Peak releases to this day, and is in charge of A&R. In 3 years, Peak records has acquired international recognition and the respect of the night time psychedelic community.

Last but definitely not least, the creation of Yab Yum! Gaspard and fellow Peaker Ajja S.F. Leu have embarked on a new night time project that had been simmering in their souls for a while. This came to light in August 2004. Since its creation many tracks have been created in the Bambullet Studios, and more recently the Wougoudougou studio. Their tracks are in constant demand with releases on international labels across the globe.
